Insight Guides - Tuscany

Steve was nominated “2010 Travel Photographer of the Year” in a competition sponsored by Insight Guides and The Independent on Sunday.

His prize was a commission to re-photograph the region for the guide. Steve spent two weeks exploring this beautiful part of Italy and photographed amongst many other stunning sights, the Palio in Siena, the hot springs of Southern Tuscany and the antiquity of Florence.

Insight Guides and Berlitz have continued to use photographs from the trip in their newly published “Italy” and “Tuscany & Umbria” pocket guides. The Berlitz Italy guide features one of Steve’s images on the cover.

Insight Guides has updated their Tuscany guide book for 2016 and continue to feature Steve’s images (bottom right).
